Jefferson was the one who did not like Hamilton's federal bank idea. I don't know about Coolidge except that he took after the isolationism from Harding's years (foreign policy). Coolidge was a business man so his policies were very much in line with helping his community.

If the two were to have a debate, I would side with Coolidge for his business experience. Jefferson was more of a political thinker and he did not live through to America's industrial revolution. His experience suggest that he is better suited for diplomacy and lecturing on good government.
