When did Thomas Jefferson talk about central banks?

I'm writing an argumentative essay on why we should End the Federal Reserve. I've found some quotations from Jefferson that I like but I do not know the source and I want them to be credible. Is there a specific speech or paper he said this in?

Good luck.

The problem is that conspiracy loons are not above just making stuff up, hoping that enough people who don't know how to research will get taken in.

If this is the quote you're talking about, you're in for a rough ride:

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

It's always attributed by the conspiracy people to Jefferson, despite the fact that a) it appears in none of his writings, and b) didn't appear anywhere before 1937. It's a neat trick that he was able to come up with fresh quotes 111 years after he died.
