I work at macy's. dont have a bank account. how am i going to receive my paycheck?

i just started working at macy's and im a lil confused on how im suppose to get my paycheck if i dont have a bank account lol can someone help me?

Probably a paper check that you have to pick up or that will be mailed to you for you to deposit/cash/etc.

Usually places have paper checks unless you opt-in to a direct deposit. Seeing as you don't have a bank account for such a service there is no way they have that sort of information, so the default should be a paper check of some kind.

If you are unsure you need to talk to your HR department and find out before you get paid. That way you know if you need to go by the store to pick up your check or if it will be mailed to you.

My husband does not have a bank account either... everywhere he has worked, they have had an alternative to direct deposit... such as a paper check which you can get cashed at various places (although sometimes there is a small fee)
OR a lot of the bigger companies he's worked for (like Target) have offered him a company pay card. It works through either Visa or Mastercard and it is just like a debit card, except you don't need a bank account.

Ask for a paper check...they still exist.

With your check, you can go to a bank and open a checking or savings account with it. Take your ID, social security card, and a piece of mail.

Even if you don't open an account, there are places that will cash a check for a fee. A lot of grocery stores do, Wal-Mart, etc..

You may get your check in paper form especially the first one after that they probably will require you to get a bank account.
