The bank is SPECIFICALLY prohibited from providing ANY account information without the EXPRESS consent of the account holder, or a court order. If this is a business account, and you are not the PRIMARY contact, the bank probably doesn't even have your phone number. Your HR department is MUCH more likely to be giving out your number than the bank.

No. And possibly the people calling you got your number from off your check which bounced?

Your bank cannot give anyone any information about your account unless you give written permission OR there is a court order.

I would call wamu and hound them till they take care of it themselves. with affiliated companies, many banks do share information, no real way around it, its the technical age we live in. usually the bank will let you know somehow that the account will be frozen, seems like they may have dropped the ball and you have a good arguement. once theyre all paid like you intended, they will stop hounding you.
