and why would a bank registered in WY need to have branches in NY?
you need to choose a national Bank that has branches everywhere if you plan on doing business in multiple states.
I think there's a very good reason you haven't been able to find one. There aren't a lot of Wyoming-based banks, and I doubt that any have branches in western New York.
check online for a list of banks for that area
