What happened to the Certificates of Deposit for Gainer Bank in Gary, Indiana?

I have two certificates of deposit and do not know if they have any value. The certificates were taken out in 1991 in Gary, Indiana.

Any CD is for a certain lengh of time, for example either 3 months, 6, 9, 1 year, 5 years, etc. Read the CD and find out what was the lengh of time. When you do not renew a CD, the bank renew it automaticly. If the CD's are on your name the best thing is to call the bank and find out when they will expire and asked when can you take the money out without any penalty, if you want to take the money out. or simple ask for the amount. Since the CD's are 17 years old, I am sure the interested earned has accrued.
