Remember that Panama is an offshore banking center, so there are over 80 banks chartered in Panama. However only a few national chartered banks are doing personal and commercial banking in Panama. Most of the 44 national chartered banks cater to boutique customers or only carry out offshore banking operations even though they could open local accounts.
The 33 international chartered banks can only offer their services to persons and businesses outside of Panama.
As for construction companies, those that I mentioned are the ones I keep top of mind, however there are certainly more available.
