Avon is really pretty, but secluded. There isn't much to do except go to the beach. There is only one chain grocery store and a couple other little shops. If you're willing to drive a little bit there's alot of sights to see (lighthouses, Wright Brothers Memorial, Lost Colony, aquarium). It's a beautiful place to stay!
