No - the title 'Remittance Director' is not used in any UK banks and is only used in Nigerian fake lottery scams

The REAL David Lewis is head of the US Banking unit of Barclays Wealth - he is not based in London and has nothing to do with remittance. This is a scammer fraudulently using the name of a real bank employee to con people into sending money

If you got an email that you are owed lots of money and you have to contact a remittance director, it's a scam. If you are told to pay money through Western Union or Moneygram it's a scam as NO bank accepts these forms of payment

Kittysue is spot on.

Give her the 10 points and don't fall for scams on the net, they play on your greed and sympathies.
