No I don't think it is fair to bash them for using ex WWE guys, I mean, if they are a good wrestler, then most of the time, they have been with the WWE at one point or another, many forget that a certain Mr. A J Styles has worked for both WCW and WWE before, so are they going to say that TNA shouldn't have used A J????
ok I watch wrestling among other sports. athletes are traded and sighned to free agency all the time. I hear you about sting, but look at abyss the lovechild of Old kane and Mankind. wwe like it or not is the benchmark, the pinnacle. they are two separate companies. the only thing i don't like about tna is the ring. they need big stars to draw attention. wcw wasn't a threat till they got hogan and savage and the brain. so angle, cristian, fatu jr, and all the rest. its just BID'ness. tna has amazing matches and fans and perfomers. nuff said enjoy both
If they are holding down the company, yes it is.
While they have some good pickups (Christian Cage, Kurt Angle), let's be serious. Guys like Dustin Rhodes, Voodoo Kin Mafia, Team 3D (who are beyond out of shape now), Kevin Nash, Matt Morgan, both Steiners, not to mention Andrew Martin, Rikishi/Junior Fatu, and Tomko are not doing anything great for the company. It even gets worse that Jay Lethal has to be a former WWF/E gimmick in order to get over! A lot of these guys are not doing anything to help the ratings, a lot of these guys are not even putting on anything close to entertaining in matches. They are just known names and recognizable people doing nothing beneficial.
While WWE's been absolute crap lately, they haven't been relying on names from other organizations like TNA has. Also, it's worse for TNA because they are smaller and can't rely on the name of their federation to survive. WWE's been crap, but they're still getting ticket sales, they're still selling merchandise, and the people who bash them are still watching at least one of the three shows.
I like TNA, but if they don't fix their problems, especially this one, then they are screwed.
Only if they take the guys that are obviously not so good thinking that it will bring more fans. If fans didn't care for a particular wrestler in wwe they're not impressed when he shows up in TNA.
But Kurt Angle is NOTHING TO BE BASHED ABOUT. HE ROCKS!
