O.k. lets make this clear, Chase stinks. However your banking techniques leave much to be desired. Whether Chase held on
to your purchase (not a chance) or not you should have had the $ in your account to cover them. I would recommend you close your
account. See a Personal Banker at your new bank, discuss your
banking techniques and have them fix you up correctly. That ATM
card is the culprit, Honestly. Between the banker and you using online banking, your overdrafts problems should be over. Take care.
Hi! I also had an account with Chase Bank at a time but now I have sweared god I'll never have any with this bank in future. The fact the policies of this bank are really bad and waht to tell about the magnificent customer service its officials provide. I suggest you to put your complaint on an online complaint board like http://customercomplaint.in. It will certainly help getting things better. Because these things create pressure on the officials to deal with the situation sympathetiocally.

When I stopped charging on my account, I received a call. When they offered me services I declined everything. After 3 months of no activity on my account thy offered me to lower my interest rate. I again declined the offer. But than one day, I was at the bank and I am friendly and know my clerks. I started pulling money out of my accounts. Than they asked what was happening. I told the clerk whom went the Branch Manager and it all stopped.
Oh come on do you not know at every given second how much you have and even if it is a month for the purchase to come out why is that a problem if you manage your account properly.
I hate when people blame others for their own misuse of their accounts.
