This is about a Florence banking family at the origin of the industry as we now know it.

What do you need to know? Banking as we know started with the moneylenders. In the 17th century banks as we know them started up - not sure who the oldest bank in the world is but Bank of Scotland is 316 years old and the oldest in the UK. They have a museum which has a website that might help.
