So do I .From your area head east to the New York Thruway.Take it south to Pennsylvania Go over to Delaware Water Gap and route 611 south along the river. Make to to take a day trip to New Hope/ Lambertville stroll through the towns and have lunch/ dinner or breakfast/ lunch plenty of choices. Back to 95 BOO but only to Wilmington DE Both 13 and sr 301 Hook up with US 50 east take that to Ocean City MD.. Stay inland overnight saving $ and giving yourself time to enjoy the city the following day. Staying on the Easten Shore will take you to the islands with the wild horses they are actually in Virginia I believe. I haven't been to that part of NC so I can't tell you further directions.
grab a road atlas. really. i know of 13 to 17 through delaware, maryland, virginia, and north carolina. i have taken 11 and 20 through ny and 9 and 31 in nj. i do the ferry at cape may, nj to lewes, de every now and then.
