why does this concern you so? it's not as if you have millions and millions to play with like i do. i do multiple transfers everyday. sometimes i do too much, i get confused and some of my money ends up in rustan or bloomingdale's for some reason. trust me, being too rich can be a headache sometimes.
It is my understanding that you can transfer between/among banks, BUT you have to pay a transfer fee (which can be high), and you will have to have an account in both banks.
You can also us XOOM (see<xoom.com>) to transfer money from one bank account to another; they also charge for this service.

if you mean interbranch deposit then it is not possible. you can only do that if you transfer funds in one bank of different branches and you are authorized to withdraw money from that account.
