Considering that $700 billion was nothing but more printed money, I think you should be more worried about the dollar crashing. You do get paid in dollars right?
Also, the amount in the bailout is not even close to amount needed to cover all the bad mortgages. That would total over 1 trillion dollars. The banks lent out more money than they had and now the govt. is trying to 'save' them.....with what?? Markets built on faulty foundations will ultimately fail.

As close as I can figure George Bush has cost all American taxpayers about $77,500 for every man, woman and child in America.

It's time we arrest all republicans and put them in concentration camps starting with Dick Cheney.

McCain has a plan of cutting taxes AND spending. It could work in combination with selling treasuries to raise money for the bail out.
