Hey Daisy!

Add me to your fan list! I feel exactly the same as you do.
I think telephone banking was OK a couple of times, when transferring money from my account onto my son's account (Same bank-Same branch) If i have lost count of the number of times when they've told me "O You'll need to speak to someone in your branch. Putting you through" To hear the phone ring and ring and by the time someone answers, to be told "O i'm sorry we cannot do this over the phone. it's for your own security. You'll need to call at the branch".

I've given up with telephone banking! I now make a point of going to my branch. It saves me a phone call and being told to go there anyway!

I hate that to bottom of my heart (not literally but you know what I mean). Reasons?
a) Everything has a long route to resolve
b) I hate the voice of the recording. I feel so dumb with their recording
c) It has lost the entire people connection thing. It reminds that we are living in age of machines.
d) Got to repeat the same story so many times

Used to hate it with my previous bank but now I bank with HSBC i've found their telephone banking system to be really quick and effective. I do bank online but when I'm driving (which I do too much of) it's great to be able to bank on my phone hands free! http://customerserviceguru.co.uk/HSB...
