My friend, the last post got all wrong. The Brooklyn Banks are on the Manhattan side, however the two subway station he mentioned are on the Brooklyn side. The nearest subway station to the Brooklyn Banks is the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall subway station on the #4, 5 and 6 lines (Green Line).

When you exit the subway at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, walk down east on Frankfurt Street until you reach Pearl Street. You will see a series of steps and raillings, that the Brooklyn Banks.

The Brooklyn Banks are a makeshift skate park under the Brooklyn Bridge, but on the MANHATTAN side. The closest subway stops are the High St (A/C) York St (F) & Clark St (2/3) a little ways down.
