Banking in regards too little house on the prairie. Most Prairie Banks were sub branches of larger banks in larger cities. In many small cities the post office or general store often functioned as a bank along with granges, cattleman's associations, miners associations, unions etc.
But banks normally had associations with larger banks with eventual traced there heritage back to the federal reserve.
