What would happen if John Dillinger or any other Prohibition Bank Robbers attempted to rob a modern bank?

They are equipped with vehicles and weaponry from their era however they also have their prohibition era wit (thus giving them a heavy advantage against this generation)

Banks in John Day, OR

It's That Guy

It's not really worth robbing banks anymore. Most transactions are electronic these days, and your average bank doesn't have more than $5000 or so in cash. You'd do better to carjack a nice car!

The Thompson submachine gun is still a formidable weapon, though!

the police and fbi needed to figure out how to defeat these bank robbers. once they did the banks robbers were then at a disadvantage. they police had little pistols and they had thompson machine guns. so they were good for their time but sooner rather than later the police and fbi had them.

today they wouldnt stand too much of chance because they advantages they had to take advantage of are not there. with security cameras and cops having cars and mostly everyone that are faster than theirs they wouldnt be that effective. like the guys who robbed the bank in hollywood with fully automatic riles with big drums and full bulletproof body armour (except hands, feet and head)........................were caught and killed.

Really

When the Bank of America was robed in Hollywood several years ago, the robbers had body armor, fully auto weapons, they only left with $27,000 dollars. you can get more cash from a wal-greens if a drug form.
