I know it will take more than a yahooanswers to answer my question but any answers would be great. I know that if we were to '0' a specific country's bank that are in the red, that it would screw up the 'system' but what exactly would it do and why would it be a bad thing? Or ia it just because...

well a bank has customers people/ businesses what happens to them maybe a big business suddenly that's in trouble as well and the shares held in it this has a knock on effect and like a fire it spreads till everything is burning solid businesses start to burn panic sets in theres a stock market crash people panic you see money is so sacred it's more than life or death they try to grab what they can to save what they can feeding the fire that's why the system is so flawed banks are too big to fail if they fall they bring the house of cards down

you have to be more specific about what you mean by "rest to 0".

There are two things you need to be aware of
1 the system itself makes a few people rich by making many others poor(er)
2 money doesn't grow or reproduce, and unfortnately we leave its creation to banks who demand it back with interest. If we'd create it without the "need" to pay it back, we could have an economy without debt

The national banks hold gold reserves in ingot form. How could you 'reset' that? Even if you could, chaos would reign and countless millions would starve. Money is a necessary evil.

That would be good, poor people would lose their debts and rich people would lose their ill gotten gains. To make it better every bank document and the deeds to every building or piece of land would need to be burnt, and all the gold put back in the ground.
