Since you can't identify with your co-worker, perhaps you should try to identify with your customer and take a survey of them and see what they would prefer. Your co-worker might feel about your music the same way you feel about hers. Hopefully you won't ever need her help or good will, as you are not likely to get it. Throughout my work history I found that working as a team was much more effective than working as individuals.

i never post an answer that is negative on here. i never have to. this had the potential to be such a good question, but jesus you are messed up in the head. i'm in my twenties.

yes, the choice of music should be something that the customers like. yes, she has a right to her turn. no, she is not a fossil for working there that long. and you're just a rude, self-centered person for asking why can't she be more like you. you are forming a clique like you're in high school. you're not.

you're at work. you should be focused on doing a good job and getting along with your co-workers, and especially, MAKING YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY. think about someone else for a change, and you will answer your question.

It should be up to the customers... since you work in a bank, the likes and dis-likes of your customers will vary greatly. You should try to find a station that plays a mix of different music. Something that maybe plays hits from the 80's/90's/and today.
