What is the name of the evergreen with multiple "fingers", common in Outer Banks area?

I saw a bunch of these at rental homes in Duck, NC at the Outer Banks, and love them. I would love to know their common or Latin name so I can look for one. It looked like a juniper from the street, but I am not sure about that. It has multiple branches that all point roughly upwards, like fingers reaching for...

Palmettos? When they sprout new palms, they come straight out of the middle. They are super soft and curled up tight. Then they spread out and harden....

Oh...not palmetto. Sago Palm.
