What does it mean when DEUTSCHE BANK NATIONAL TRUST COMPANY bought a house?

DEUTSCHE BANK NATIONAL TRUST COMPANY is apparently the owner of a massive amount of foreclosures. I am purchasing one of their current foreclosures. The realtor works at an office that also residence the title company, closing company, mortgage company, and Broker. I was researching this bank and have found numerous court dockets listing defendants showing a similar pattern of cohesion. This "mortgage broker" tried to have me sign a loan of $86K when the purchase price was only $73K. They call it constructive loans but in the end they are opportunities for each service to draw a commission from the buyer. I refused to sign anything and went to my own bank and signed a loan for $69K for the same house. I went through PFHA to receive a $5K credit at closing and will only pay out of pocket $2,021 with the offer of $73K, 5%down, and good faith estimate balance from my bank. 6-22-09 I was told DEUTSCHE BANK NATIONAL TRUST COMPANY accepted my bid. Out of the three bids, my bid was the highest. I was told that the listing price decreased to $70K and my bid of $73K won. The next day, I was told I have to get pre-approved by DEUTSCHE BANK NATIONAL TRUST COMPANY'S mortgage broker. After completing that process, the broker tried to offer me his mortgage services for this loan. I said, "Is this what this is about?" He said that he could get me a PFHA loan and help me. The same day my realtor emails me an addendum that forced me to use their closing services for the price of $8K. I called my realtor and firmly explained that I have my own bank and things are already in the works. I do not need any services and will not sign anything. I just want my signed agreement of sale back from DEUTCHES BANK NATIONAL TRUST COMPANY since they accepted my offer and the MLS number is now pending status since 6/22/09. (The day I was told it was my house.) I have reported e-realty services in East Stroudsburg PA to the BBB. I am going to ignore them and communicate only with my bank, get the inspector on site, and get the closing date done ASAP.

In all probability, you bid on a sheriff's sale foreclosure auction. Deutsche National held the mortgage, and it outbid you so that it could sell the house for market value. Doubtless,more was owed on the property than your bid.

That probably means that they held the mortgage on the house and bought it at auction to protect there interests. They will sell it whenever they feel like it.

It can merely mean they have purchased the home in order to rent it to their employees when they send them to the area. We sold our North Carolina home to a major German company. They rented to one of their physicians and his family when he was transferred to work at their facility in the Research Triangle Park in Durham. It happens all the time.
