There's one restaurant/pub in the Victor Building...The Victor's Pub:

It's supposedly pretty nice, but the others aren't completely wrong about Camden being pretty empty otherwise. Outside of that small area of waterfront, Camden is a pretty destitute city. In fact, I wouldn't go looking around anywhere South or East of where you'll be, or anywhere North of the Ben Franklin Bridge. If you have the time, your better bet is to take PATCO High Speed Line over the Ben Franklin into Philly (or the Ferry, but I've heard it's a madhouse after a show) and get off at 8th and Market. You can look around there, but you'd do better if you walked down towards 2nd and 3rd, where it becomes Old City. There will be 4-5 restaurants on each block at least.

If you are driving, someone mentioned Cherry Hill. If you're good at directions, then go for it. You'll need to take the Admiral Wilson Boulevard East to Route 70 from the Bank Center. It's a bit of a hairy intersection/junction, but if you follow the signs, you'll be OK. Follow Route 70 East into Cherry Hill (you'll pass a Wawa on your left, a Hotel on your right, and a big Subaru headquarters building on your right). Once you get to that point, get into the left turning lanes, and go into that new shopping center. Everything in there is brand new, and ranges from pizza slices, to Houlihan's to a fairly high-end steakhouse.

If this link works right, you'll see the Cherry Hill Mall just around the corner from the Garden State Park Marketplace, and that will also have a lot of options, including a brand new Maggiano's.

There aren't any. The area surrounding the Susquehanna Bank center and the Aquarium is definitely not a good area.

THERE IS REALLY NOTHING AROUND THERE. ALL OF THE RESTAURANTS ARE IN CHERRY HILL. CMD (CAMDEN) IS A BAD AREA SURROUNDING THE BANK CENTER I USE TO LIVE THERE. BUT IF IF DONT MIND TRAVELING INTO CMD THERE ARE ALOT OF SPANISH PLACES TO EAT AND YOUR REGULAR PIZZA AND CHINESE STORES ON THE CONNER. THERE IS ALSO A MCDONALDS IN DOWNTOWN CMD, BUT I WOULD NOT EAT THERE VERY DIRTY.
