Go see the Lost Colony outdoor drama on Roanoke Island. Climb Jockey's Ridge sand dune and visit Kitty Hawk Kites across the street. See the Wright Brother's museum and climb to the monument, that's where my photo was taken :). Go up to Corolla and climb the lighthouse. Go fishing on Jeanette's Pier in Nags Head. Play miniature golf. Do some bike riding on the bike path in Nags Head along the Beach Road or in Manteo. Get a boogie board and ride some waves. At night build a bonfire on the beach and roast some marshmallows. Go down Hatteras Island and climb the Hatteras Lighthouse. Eat the best calzone at Nino's in Avon. Go crabbing in the sound. Take the FREE ferry over to Ocracoke Island and walk around Silver Lake. Check out the water sports place next to Tanger outlet mall in Nags Head and rent a kayack or learn to wind surf or kite surf if you're really ambitious. If not go shopping at Tanger.
