Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem of Judea (Judah). It's that simple. I now realize there is no limitation of absurdity which atheists will not go to discredit the life of the first century Jewish Jesus. To say that the town didn't even exist is the most retarded thing I've heard from mockers to this date. It's not enough to say Jesus didn't live; now an entire town is being erased from 1st century Judea?! Wow!! And it was all another Jewish or Christian conspiracy, right? What a rediculous thing to say. And Micah (5:12), a prophet of Tanakh, helped in the conspiracy before Jesus was born wow! And the apostles, who wanted to convince the world of the story of Jesus, chose a town which wasn't in existence....oh, wow, that would be smart! And yet nobody had any problem with the town of Bethlehem being mentioned in Scriptures until a "know-it-all" 2000 years later! And as for the original question: Bethlehem-Judah is mentioned as far back as the book of Judges and in the New Covenant as belonging to Judea:
Judges 17:7-9; 19:1-2,18. Ruth 1:1-2. Sam 17:12 And Bethlehem is mentioned as far back as Genesis of the Torah: Gen. 35:19; 48:7. In Matthew we see that Bethlehem was of Judea: Matt. 2:1,5,6

Bethlehem may be on the West Bank now, but that division is modern, not ancient. Also, he only happened to be born there and his parents were both Jewish from Galilee, which is definitely in Israel. So, Jesus would be Jewish and, if born today, Israeli. A child does not get it's nationality from where it is born, but from the nationality of its parents. Of course he could also have dual citizenship, many babies do, you know.

?

The West Bank-Gaza Strip division didn't exist in Jesus' time, let alone the division of Palestinian and Israeli territories.

He would be considered Palestinian today.
Go Palestine!

That is irrelevant, because the biblical Jesus was born in the Roman province of Palestine.

The town of Bethlehem didn't exist at the time of the supposedly birth date of Jesus. Christians made it up to fit a Jewish scripture. Jesus came from Nazareth.

PROBLEM

NO, the borders you talk about are a 20th century thing.
