Does anybody from the Philliadelphia area know if I can get to Citizens Bank Park from Media, PA by rail/subway? I am going to a Phillies game on a Sunday this August.

Thanks

Hi. There are a few ways to get there.

1.) Take the R3 to Suburban Station in Philadelphia. Take the Orange Line (south) (Broad Street Subway) to the final stop, Pattison Avenue. You will see the stadium when you upstairs. (This is the more expensive option.)

2.) Take the Trolley to 69th Street. Then hop on the Market Frankford El to Suburban Station. Take the Orange Line (south) (Broad Street Subway) to the final stop, Pattison Avenue. You will see the stadium when you upstairs. There is a free transfer from the blue line to the orange line.

septa.org for schedule information.

Depending on the time of the game, I would be careful on the subways. There are typically a lot of people who take the subway to the games, so there shouldn't be a significant worry while you're traveling. I know there has been a lot of crime and violence on the subways. Just be aware of your surroundings.

Have fun!!!
