Regarding owing a bank money?

A quick question to anyone who would know. I have owed washington mutual money for a few years now it has went to a creditor. Every once in awhile I receive a notice in the mail from this company saying i owe them about $80 and they give me different payment options. but at the moment i don't have the money to pay...

They should not come to your house . Usually most of collections takes place via the mail and court system . If they do not sue you they usually have 7 yrs to collect ... via garnished wages ... lien your house, etc . If they do sue you, depending on your states statute of limitations, they could come after you for the rest of your life . Until this gets resolved it will negatively impact your credit score .
You can threaten them with bankruptcy and they may settle for half the debt . Pay $5 per mo. if that is all you can afford ...
If they sue you they can clean-out your bank acct. anytime ... so beware . If they do not sue you ... they have approx . 7 yrs to collect . Once the 7 yrs is up and they continue to harrass you ... do not admit to the debt ... just send them a certified letter stating that you do not want to be contacted again by them regarding this debt ... get a return reciept from the post office to prove they rec'd it . They will threaten law-suit ... but if the statute of limitations is past ... they cannot do anything ...

thay wont come to your house but will send you stuff in the mail pay when you get the money or send them 20 dollers that will let them see you are trying to pay

They will keep sending you letters about that bill until you pay it... They will not come to your house or call you.
