Good luck!

Your best bet is to check NY State for abandoned funds. If the bank can't find you any more, they will turn your money over to NY State and they keep track of it for you.

Hey U, Yeah U..Get over here

LOL....*whips eye* good luck. LOL. With that many mergers you're lucky they haven't lost acct period. You can call the bank and seeeeeee is they could pull your bank records...but like most organizations and individuals by law they're only required to hold account information for 7 years for IRS reasons. After that they are aloud to dispose of the information. If for some ODD record keeping miracle they do have your acct info from 20 years ago, again i laugh, you will have to pay for it. I know my bank makes me pay for statements dating back more than 3 MONTHS...so i think, dude, u r SOL. sorry man.

I would suggest that you go to your current banking facility and ask them for assistance and see if they can send them a wire. It may be a small fee but, it's your choice whether or not you pay it. Or I would write, sign, and have notorized a statement requesting this information if you know the address or can get someone to get the current address for you. Try Wells Fargo, if everything else fails. They keep all the banking records of to and from the facilities.
