Banks don't do grants, which is money the recipient does not have to pay back. Banks do loans. But most would be unlikely to lend a college student money for a school trip.

Your best option is to check with your school to see if you can use any financial aid for the trip. You should talk to your school to see if you can borrow any federal student loans to pay for your trip. They might be able to help you if you have an eligibility, and this trip is, indeed, school-related.

Your other options is to great a private student loans from a company like Sallie Mae. I would strongly urge you to use this option only as a last, desperate resort. These loans typically have high interest rates, and less forgiving repayment options. Also, you will have to submit to a credit check to receive this loan. So, you might need a co-signer to even get this loan. I would recommend you save up money from a part-time job before you take out private loans. These things can turn into a nightmare.
