Banks in Big Rapids, MI

I don't think it really matters because banks change hands so often. I moved to SE GR back in 1996 and opened an account with what was then called NBD (Nations Bank Detroit). They were fine but within 2 years they became Bank One. Then within another 2 years they became Integra Bank. Service remained pretty much the same, but I got tired of having my mortgage and checking accounts and charge cards constantly having to be switched around. So I changed to a credit union and was much happier -- free checking, no fees, automatic overdraft coverage, low interest car and home equity loans, low interest Visa and higher interest than other banks on savings. Plus the funds were helping other members instead of enriching some big global bank. I left GR 10 years ago, but when I relocated I did the same thing -- have been with credit unions for 15 years now and could not be happier. Do almost all my banking on line anyway and my credit union gives me fee free ATM use through one of the largest banks in my region so it is just as convenient as any regular bank.

Try a Credit Union.
