The reason the Banking Industry wants total de-regulation is so they can charge whatever interest rates they want. Damn, they're doing that already, and EVERYONE in Congress is letting them get away with it.

The Banks and Credit Corporations got themselves into the mess, they can just go down like any small business would have to in the same circumstance.

Not at all, the financial community has proven over and over again they can be trusted. Government should stay out of business. But I'm betting on another financial crisis, and my judgement is probably biased
