Is it legal to hunt hog along the banks of the Peace River Florida?Going on a fishing/canoeing trip on the Peace river from Bartow to Brownsville and back and have seen hogs on the bank in the past and usually have my rifle with us. Look under parks and recreation or the hunting regs because in my state (La) you connot fire a weapon on a navigable waterway or within a stipulated distance. I believe it's 1/4 mi here.

You should be able to download fl. hunting and fishing regs. online. In Ga. it's open season on wild hogs but there are still some regs on night hunting ie nitescopes, flashlites have to be attached
