yes Islamic products are more costly compared to interest bearing products and that's why many people are forced to choose these haram mortgages(unfortunately)
yes i would prefer a purely Islamic bank whose products cost about same or less than these haram banks.
I dont know if these Islamic banks use sufficient Qur'an and Hadith sources to market their products.

since i am not inside the banks and i have less information about their operations i can not talk more. every system has challanges and disadvantages because of human factor but i love the logic based on Quran.
