No and not in particular. The bank robbers come from all over. Organized crime is more into corrupt businesses, corrupt politicians, "protection" and other types of "shakedowns", drugs other than weed or coca, stolen property (fencing, overseas shipment). Bank robbing's too much risk of exposure for them.
U watch too many movies!! The most hit places in Boston tend to be around The Back Bay/South End areas. The movies that have been coming out lately dramatize Boston in the 70's Charlestown is actually a higher end part of the city now

Reputed to have ties with organized crime in Montreal, and the Provisonal Irish Republican Army.
