Hey. So I came across Investment Banking and I want to know more bout that: What it is? What you do? How much you make? Etc. And what do you study to work in that business is it science? How long does it take until you're finished in school? And I've heard that it's really hard is it true? Thanks.

Investment banking is like CD type stuff, it's using others peoples money to invest in the market then guarantee them a R.O.I. (return on investment) usually between 2.5-6.5% depending on the bank, market outlook and amount invested. You don't need a degree to do this just certification. But most companies and investors desire a person with a degree, Finance, economics or accounting are the best. school can take awhile depending on your degree, I currently have 18 months left at fisher college @ OSU I've been a full time student for 4 1/2 years now, but I'm going for two degrees (masters of management accounting and market financial analyst with CFA certification). And yes it is difficult esp. at fisher, just back back from second day classes and have like 10-15 hours worth of homework due Friday (it's Wednesday), for fisher the avgerage starting wage for 2008 was 117,000 u.s.d. with a 16,000 u.s.d. signing bonus, only hope i making this much in a few more months :) but it's a good paying in demand field so i would nturally recoumaned it.
