If i register a fictious business name for trading, can i open a business bank account with that name?

I am thinking of registering a fictious (DBA) business name in the UK. When i apply for a business bank account, will it be possible that the debit card i recieve will have the business name and not my own name?

Yes, mine is.

For those who answered incorrectly:

Most every business is incorporated in a name other than their DBA. If you write a check at Wal-Mart, you make the check out to Wal-Mart but they are probably Incorporated as Walton Company or something like that.

In my case I have a S Corporation registered as Jane Doe Enterprises d/b/a (doing business as) Parisian Kitchen Decor (or whatever) my clients pay Parisian Kitchen Decor, and I deposit the check into my bank account titled Parisian Kitchen Decor. My credit cards also say Parisian Kitchen Decor and (my name) Jane Doe. You can put the name of anyone you choose on the credit card. Your receptionist for instance, if you want her to buy office supplies.

This is commonplace, perfectly legal, and does NOT provide any opportunity to defraud anyone.

I assume you want to conduct some fraud...and rip people off?
