I'd like to get a job soon after I turn 16, and some of the money I earn from working I want to be in an account so that it can be towards college. This is a full-service checking account available to students between ages 13 and 17. This account is owned by the student jointly with a parent or guardian, provided that the parent or guardian maintains a separate qualifying linked checking account.

I have this account. I got it when I was 13. I am 15 now. It come with VISA REWARDS and a DEBIT CARD.

Culver's minimum hiring age is 14 with a workers permit.
I called many stores because I am looking for a job. This was the response they gave which makes me happy after looking for so long.
Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring.

What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at.

Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.

Not until you are 18.
Until then 1 of your parents has to open a custodial account for you.
Opening a bank account of any kind involves signing a contract/agreement which you can't do legally as a minor.
The good news is that the parent can't empty the savings account either (legally).
They can deposit and withdraw money for you,but they are required to make sure the account is there for you.
In the event that you should die (hope not for a long time),the account will go to your parent as the survivor.
