Because this is a resort town, availability and pricing changes from year to year. Also, there are different entertainment venues, festivals, etc, throughout the year.

Your best option is to contact the Convention & Visitor's Beaureau. They will be able to send you a packet of information regarding the latest hotel pricings, activities in the area, calender of events, etc.

:) You'll enjoy your time there if you're looking for a QUIET and Rural vacation. If you need to keep your kids entertained all the time, you'll have better luck at Virginia Beach.

nags head, the beach, tallest sand dune in the USA,light houses,
kite flying, you just hold it up and let out the string,Roanoke the lost village,black swamps, monster trucks,the doll makers,
take the ferry's to different islands... Kitty hawk.wright brothers museum.....lots of stuff,stop at a rest stop/ visit center on the highway and get brochures
don`t forget the wild ponies on one of the islands
