I want to give my friend a check, she lives in NY dont have the same bank, can she cash it, deposit it?

i live in san fran and she in queens, its under 100 dollars i have chase and she TD. can she cash it or deposit it. under certain number of days perhaps. id understand a hold but as long as its possible yay! its for injured puppy medicine. im not familiar with TD so wouldnt know. so if anybody from queens is...

Each bank is different, but as long as she has an account with the bank and you have the money in your bank she should be able to cash it. Even if she can't cash it, she can deposit it & withdraw the same amount of money.
