Deposit in you local bank. You should contact Citibank first to see if it is good. Once you put it in your account I would let the money set for a month at least just to make sure it doesn't get returned.
I would take it to CitiBank and verify it is in fact good. Then cash it. Sounds like a scam of some sort.

are you sure it is not a scam? If it is a good check, take it to citibank & they will cash it as long as you have proper ID
Just make sure this isn't a scam! Ask the bank to check and see if it's a legitimate check that your going to have to replace the money for. Go to your bank and ask them to check and make sure. Especially if you weren't expecting a check for something you sold or did to earn it! Good luck!
IF YOU EARNED THIS MONEY, it is yours to keep. If you did nothing to deserve the money, it is probably a fake transaction. Anyways, give it to your Bankers, who will do the needful.
