This is a SCAM. Check out the below link for confirmation of various lottery scams, including the famous Yahoo/MSN lottery scams and how to report them.

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

This is a classic fraud. I expect that if you reply they will want your bank account number in order to send you the funds, only you know what they will really want your bank account details for.

No such person, fund or Yahoo awards exists. This is a long-running internet scam, and this is SPAM email. Just click on spam on this thing and forget it.

It's a scam. They are phishing for your bank details. If you give them your bank account number watch the money fly out - not in.

Note: report such a mail to "[[email protected]]" since it's definetely fraud! Unfortunately scammers create new e-mail addresses easily, so you may get more of this in the future. Never ever open such mails or respond to them!

GOD!! DONT GIVE IN TO THIS SORT OF THING!! Sorry but I find it unbelievable that people would actually believe this. It is complete fraud, they make money by asking you to send a deposit and you will NEVER GET IT BACK!!!

NEVER give in to internet winner or lottery ads.

Fraud. Period. Report as spam.

I wish there was a way to report phishers like this, and jerks who send viruses through e-mail, directly to yahoo.

Oh well.

Probably fraud. Send an email to Yahoo!. For confirmation. Don't reply to that email, look on Yahoo! for the real address to contact their fraud department.

If they are asking you to reveal any personal financial information, then its an obvious fraud. Delete it straight away.
