Go to the county center in Riverhead (county seat) for the property info... (Main building by the jail) ...check out who holds the mortgage...then you can approach the bank regarding purchase. It really depends how far the Lis Pendans is along in the process. If the bank has completed foreclosure, you may be prudent to begin offering say 65% value initially and go up from there.
