How is somebody getting into my bank account?

Share |

I have all my debit cards and nobody knows my pin number and card number and I'm with Navy Federal. I had about $100 in my account and yesterday my account said that somebody in Springfield, VA withdrew $100 from my account and they did it through Bank of America. I live in Chesapeake and don't know anybody...

OK ... I see.
Do you know someone that know your password and if not there is only one thing.
Someone know your card # and pin.
If you have ever made an online purchase your computer might had a virus or a hacker that got your information.
What to do is go to your bank and tell them that someone is taking money from my account and tell them to change the card # AND PIN.
Change all your info and i think you will be fine. I hope i helped you.......

I can't tell how they obtained your card number and PIN.
They got money the first time by withdrawing via an ATM owned by Bank of America.
They DIDN'T get access to your account after you had the card deactivated. That is what DENIED means.

someone else has your same name and has found out your soc sec no. I had similar happen to me and found that there were 13 others with my same name. I changed my accounts. closed old ones and reopened new ones using my initials rather than my full name. bank is required to show id for all transactions. haven't had an issue since. you definitely need to close all existing account and reopen under a new number with changed id requirements. it was extremely frustrating, and took a long time to track the issues. the bank just wanted to watch over existing, I was the one that made them calcel all of existing and create new or this would still be going on.

Have you been using your debit card to buy stuff @ unknown sites?? Sounds like someone there has stolen your account # & password.
