How can i find out if my deceased father opened a trust fund or bank account for me when I was younger?

I was told he did by a dear friend of his but was never told the location of the bank is there any way of finding out ? How would I go about looking it up by searching my name or the bank....etc Im in Rome Ga by the way,

Contact the Probate Court in the county where he died. If there was such an account it should have been listed in his assets.

Hmm, normally if there was such a thing an attorney would have contacted you in writing ... that's how it worked for our family and myself !
