Banks in Madison, MS

I think I witnessed the car changing part that goes with robbing a bank. Three guys pulled into the parking lot at the Highway 43 boat landing located in Madison county, MS way back in 1995. There use to be a store there, but it burned down.

I was sitting in my old pick up truck with my dog Spike taking a rest after loading my metal boat into the back of it. I watched the men unloading small suitcases, handguns, a shotgun and other items in bags from one car to another. They did this very quickly and seemed nervous. They were all wearing three-piece suits and it looked odd seeing these guys changing weapons from one car to the other, so I couldn't help but look.

I sat there looking at them (like an idiot) from about twenty feet away. It was as they were nearly finished with the loading of guns and stuff that they saw me sitting there with my arm around my dog wondering if I was about to be shot dead. It was two white guys and a black guy. All were in the late twenties to mid-thirties. The oldest one looked at me like " Oh, no." I gave a quick smile and hugged my beloved dog even tighter thinking this is it. I'm dead. Goodbye, cruel world. You know. I turned my head expecting to be shot dead any moment.

It took maybe two minutes at the most for them to be loaded up and ready to go. They drove off quickly and I sat there shaking like all get out. I drove home and didn't hear anything about a robbery in my area on the TV, but these guys could have robbed a bank from out of the county or even the state.

If you guys are reading this, I was too scared to get a tag number and can't remember the car you were driving. Crapola! That was like eleven years ago, so your secret is completely safe. By the way, you all were very handsome in your suits. Most bank robbers look like bums, but you guys had style.

I have, about 3 years ago. I was preparing an vehicle accident report when to my right, I saw a taxi cab fill up with red smoke. I caught one of the women and my partner caught the other. Turns out that they were two heroine addicts and were pulling a note job (When you pass a note to the teller stating you want some money or people are going to get hurt.) Turns out that the teller was smart enough to pass one of those explosive dye packs with the money. These packs also have tear gas in it as well. Needless to say, they were caught and recieved about 4 years each. I actually felt bad for them, especially the younger one. Most bank robberies are not like the movies. It's usually a note job and they get a couple of hundred or a few thousand bucks and get away. Actually, jail time was the best thing for them.... they needed to get clean.

Bank robberies are usually staged by five persons with three entering the bank for the loot, one as driver and the other as lookout outside the bank.

Yes - about 12 years ago -

I was behind a guy in line and he handed the teller a note, didn't say anything, she looks at him and gives him her bait money and he's out the door. She hits another button and the bank doors lock, nobody can leave the police come and we're in there about 2 hours while they process the scene and ask a bunch of questions.

Nobody was hurt no weapons shown nothing - just a note - totally amazing
