They probably purchased prepaid credit cards in that amount, and then used those cards to buy stuff or cash.
There is a device some people carry around that will scan your credit card number by the way or after you are done with the ATM, they use a machine that shows the numbers your finger pressed. Stuff like this is scary and I would call your bank and have these charges looked into.
