Does Anyone know how much Customer Service Reps for Banks typically make in NY/NJ Area?

I am interviewing with TD bank this week and want to know if anyone knows how much CS reps usually make at banks starting out? Also, is there real growth opportunity when starting with a bank as a CS rep? Can you branch out into different opportunities within the bank? Besides being a branch manager?

I started as a CS rep at my bank in MI. I did move up to other parts of the bank with out a Degree. But to move into management you need a degree.

You'll go nowhere as CS without at least a bachelors & preferably an MBA. So use what you can out of your CS pay to go back to school. See if they have a tuition reimbursement plan for those planning to pursue an advanced degree. As for pay, hope your spouse has a decent job or your parents will let you live rent-free for a couple years to survive in high-cost, high-tax NY. NJ taxes are a bit lower. With experience, etc, you may finagle mid-20's on pay, and that's starvation time. The take-home barely covers rent & utilities in this neck of the woods.
