Does anyone know any good banks with FREE checking in Wilmington, NC?Please help! I recently moved to NC and am in need of a bank that has free checking. I am looking to not have to pay for online statements, debit card or minimum amount in the checking account. I used to have Northway Bank which is only in New England not NC! Please help :) | |
I have been with Bank of America for a long time and have had a good experience with them. The checking account I have there is free with one stipulation. I must keep a minimum of $2000 in a savings account with them in order to keep my checking free. If you can afford to keep $2000 tied up in savings this is one option.

Go with TD North. They are up and down the east coast. They have just recently expanded into the Carolinas. Great bank with a lot of benefits.
