I get what you are saying, But Punk is a metal head so how would a Spinner Belt come into play for his character?
I never see Punk cashing in the MITB, someone will take it from him like Edge took it from Kennedy last year.
Very good points, but I still have to take issue with this. The MITB push is not a age tested thing, it's only been done 4 times, and it's only been cashed in 3 times, correct? So, there's really only a little history to base this on, not enough in my opinion, to draw any sort of conclusion that all MITB title shots will work the same way. This is especially true because of the situation going on right now between Smackdown and Raw with the belts.

Benoit was a Smackdown wrestler when he won the "Raw" belt at WM XX - but he stayed on Raw.

All i'm going to say is the MITB is a fictional thing created for pushing a mid-card wrestler. Now I also highly doubt that a "Contract" actually exists. And that the briefcase is empty. And nothing is set in stone. Anything can happen in the WWE. Put plain and simple, you are thinking too hard. The writers will do whatever they damn well please.
Where'd you get this info. from? You might be correct. But, from what I'm seeing right now is that if CM Punk cashes in and wins a belt, he'll get to bring it back to his respective brand. I've never read the MITB contract, so I'm not sure.
You make a VERY interesting point.. however I gotta agree about the whole Spinner belt thing.. I'm a fan of Cena AND Punk.. however I don't see Punk havin a Spinner belt.. aren't they supposed to be bringin in some kinda Diva Belt or somethin? .. or was I dreamin?

CM Punk`s character would be better off to wait to cash it in. Too soon could be bad for his career. As for spinner belts...what a joke i wish that they wouldn`t do that. It`s insulting to the history of the titles and most of the people who have held them, just because one vanilla ice impersonating guy on a halloween episode gets over forever. leave the bling to goofy gimmicks like cryme tyme. Comedy and bling has its place, and i don`t think it should make its way to the world title level. do any other long time fans agree?
dude no disrespect but you are wrong, think about RVD, he was an ECW superstar and beat Cena(raw superstar) and took the title with him to ECW ( if my memory does not fail me)
